With a PUE (Power Usage Efficiency) value of 1.18, DeepGreen has set a new standard in energy efficiency at its data center without compromising in areas such as reliability, server air-conditioning temperature and atmospheric humidity. This incomparable efficiency is the outcome of three innovative measures.


Cooling
The DeepGreen data center dissipates its waste heat in an environmentally sustainable manner with cold water from the nearby lake, the Walensee, a natural and renewable source of cooling energy. Independent expert reports have confirmed that the system has no negative impact on the lake.

Server Temperature Regulation
The DeepGreen data center maintains a strict separation between cold supply air and warm extracted air at its server facilities. This allows us to prevent an improper flow of air, as it is the case, for instance, when servers are allowed to draw in their warm exhaust air.
